Paint Canvas Art Workshop in Costa Rica
Join Laurel for a fun, informative and creative art workshop
in Costa Rica, painting your design on canvas. The options include painting a canvas rug, a canvas wall hanging or
a canvas bag. These full day art workshops, held at Laurel's beautiful Costa Rica Farm and Studio, are limited to the number
of participants, providing plenty of one-on-one assistance. Full instruction is provided and suggestions made for your design
process. Painting your canvas creation can be done free-hand and/or using stamps to create your own personal, one-of-a-kind
canvas wall decor piece, canvas rug* or a personal canvas bag. (To learn more about Laurel's expertise and background click

Capture
Costa Rica on Canvas painting art workshops include complete preparation
of selected items prior to class time: the canvas material is preshrunk, sewn and a base coat (of your color choice) applied.
Having the canvas material prepped in advance allows class time spent on creating your personal design and hand painting.
For the canvas rugs and wall decor items, a final protective coat is recommended.
* Canvas rug and wall decor sizes are limited due to time constraints.
Our next canvas painting art workshop in Costa Rica will be held Saturday, December 12, 2009 designing and painting your choice of a 2.5
x 3 foot canvas rugs or canvas wall decor (same size) or a canvas bag. The workshop is limited to six participants and
begins at 9:00 am, ending at 4:00 pm.
Payment
in full is required no later than Friday Dec. 4th to secure your participation. Payment includes the workshop and
materials. For reservations and payment information contact us with any questions. The cost of the class is $95** per person.
Base Color Options
for Painted Canvas Class: See below for the three base coat options but please keep in mind that colors/hues
vary with computer monitors. It's not necessary to have an exact match for the base coat but rather to give a basic
color choice to incorporate with the rest of your design.
Laurel's Capture Costa Rica on Canvas full day art workshops
in Costa Rica are available for private small groups as an art class party or group for both adults and 
children (minimum age 10). Great for
both locals and visitors to Costa Rica.To inquire about prices and date availability contact us. A discount is offered for private groups. Planning and reserving a minimum two weeks in advance is required due to Laurel's
