As the weather warms up so do thoughts of jazzing
up our
outdoor entertaining areas; a perfect
décor item is an outdoor
patio rug
and painted floor cloths fit the bill perfectly. There's a
plethora of patio rugs available on the market, however,
incorporating a floor covering with a personal, custom, or
specific theme is easily attainable and affordable with a
hand painted canvas rug.

the
ability to withstand lots of foot traffic. You'll

sewing and the material itself

Laurel's Interior Design News
After a recent press release about our new website,
Canvas Rugs Costa Rica created primarily for Interior
Designers in Costa Rica, we were contacted by a local publication
for an interview. The article is due to be released in their
June/July issue. Not trying to be coy, we
just want to be certain
it goes to print before
saying too much...but if it does, we'll be
sharing
the news!
We are actively looking for additional commercial work here in
Costa Rica with our canvas rugs and would so appreciate if you
know someone in the interior design, interior decorating field to
forward our email or website to them. Thanks for any networking
you might offer on our behalf.
Designer's Contest coming
soon! Currently we are in the planning
stages of our second canvas rug design contest. Our first contest last
year was a great success and lots of fun. We truly appreciated our fans
and readers enthusiasm. Anytime a first happens, though, there's
always
a few things overlooked or determined
that needs changing. 
This year we are limiting the contest to interior designers in Costa Rica. Why?
To be straightforward about it, its part of our marketing strategy
and most
people here are unfamiliar with canvas
rugs. We need to introduce and
educate
interior professionals about these types of rugs in order to work with
them. We hope this won't disappoint those of you who are not eligible to
participate and that you'll understand. If you have a strong feeling about
this, however, we do want to hear from you so please contact us.
