Canvas Rugs ~ Ideal for Costa Rica

The benefits of incorporating canvas rugs as a design element are many. Here in Costa Rica, however, canvas rugs are a novelty and often, when something new is introduced, it takes time for the idea to catch on.  But catching on they are!

What makes canvas rugs ideal for Costa Rica? In addition to their design aspect, creating floor art, these rugs are durable providing protection to wood floors. They also provide cushion and sound absorption with tile and cement floors. Unlike more traditional rug options,canvas rugs do not 'collect' dirt, sand or dander; their maintenance is super easy.

Over the past two years, I have been blessed with a growing number of friends and clients who have embraced the design element of a custom canvas rug in their home or business. These custom designs have expanded my artistic ability to grow, as well. And I am grateful for the learning process.

New Canvas Rug Design: Black & White & Hearts All Over

A recent request came in this month for a rug design request. The client wanted a black and white check rug with the added element of red hearts. I talked about the project on my blog which goes into more detail but it turned out so great looking it is now listed as one of our standard canvas rugs designs.

Last month we mentioned a project creating a PDF that would assist Interior Designers to introduce our canvas rugs to, and assist in creating custom designs, for their clientele.

After further consideration, we decided a PDF was too limiting and possibly problematic, so instead we opted to have a new website specific for interior design professionals.
