| Desert Views for Canvas Design Ideas |
It was a wonderful trip to Egypt and I returned with a head full of
ideas for canvas rug designs mostly from...snorkeling, of all things! Snorkeling in the desert? Yep, while snorkeling in the Red Sea I witnessed incredible
fish and coral. Designs and colors so different…they have inspired a new design series, The Red Sea Collection, for
home décor items painted on canvas. Also looking forward to replicate and incorporate the beautiful pink color
of the Sinai Desert sand.
The heat in
Egypt reminded me that summer is soon to arrive in the USA. Currently in Costa Rica, it is the rainy season, but regardless
where in the world you live higher temperatures generate renewal and lots of color. This is the ideal time to freshen up patios,
gardens, B-B-Q and pool areas. Canvas works well for sprucing up those outdoor areas, i.e., canvas rugs, canvas pillows,
cushion covers, canvas wall hangings…you get my point.
Something special also takes place in the warmer
months: weddings! As a thoughtful and unique gift for a new bride and groom, consider a hand painted canvas rug or perhaps
a wall hanging. (Note: we offer gift certificates if you prefer the couple select their own design and colors).
Great Idea! One idea presented
for an outdoor wedding was that of a canvas rug, a floral runner, which provided a path on the lawn for the wedding party.
This one-of-a kind, custom canvas rug matched in colors of the bridesmaids’ dresses along with the design of flowers held by the bride. After the wedding,
it found a special place in the newlywed’s home.
Website
Update
We’ve got video! It is short in length, only 30 seconds, with snappy music (you might want
to adjust your sound as necessary) that plays along with it on the home page. It may take a moment to upload; the screen is at the top of the page above the newsletter form. Would love to hear
any feedback on this; if you create an account with the software company, Animoto, leave a message directly on the video screen.
Or, send me an e-mail. Either way, I would appreciate your time to let me know if you think the video enhances or not.

mentioned Red Sea Collection.
