Knowing how
busy the Holiday season gets for everyone, I am keeping this month's design newsletter short and sweet. You'll read an update/change
for our Capture Costa Rica on Canvas art workshop and a final reminder to submit your ideas for our Canvas
Rug Design Contest. Also, you might be interested to read about our Artfire e-commerce site which
has a special coupon for "holideals" shopping. Lastly, my canvas rugs and other interio decor items will be availbe
for sale at a local Holiday Art Fair at the Country Day School in Escazú, Cost Rica.

We've received several quality
submissions from our readers but we'd like to see a few more. Winner will receive a 2 x 3 foot canvas rug painted, by yours
truly, with their winning design. The only thing we ask is permission to post your name and if possible, a photo of you and
your winning designed canvas rug.

Following our first art workshop, painting canvas rugs, I realized
a few things needed to be adjusted for future workshops. Mostly, that more time was needed. 
The required measuring and drawing an outline of a design onto the canvas material can eat up
a bit of time.That, or, as with the experienced artist, Elena, with her beautiful peacock design idea required quite a bit

So, we
have decided to do full day workshops. This will give everyone plenty of time, allow for a couple of stretch breaks
and of course, enjoy a homemade lunch.
