We are thrilled to welcome you to Laurel 's Originals first Newsletter!

Every month we will announce new designs and showcase new products. If you have ideas for interior design or applications for hand-painted textiles, share! We love to try new things.

In a few months or more we will add an archives page on the website so that you can read about some of the projects we've done that may offer you inspiration for decorating.

We also plan to include tips and information from special guests. If you are an interior designer with an excellent writing voice and would like to submit an article, please contact us.

There are many ideas and challenges in decorating; We offer original, creative solutions such as protecting wood floors; use of wall hangings in large spaces, bed boards, table runners, place mats, accent rugs; the list is endless!

For example, recently a client had added a circular stairway to her home and tiles were damaged around the post during construction. Using the design from existing floor tiles and colors in her décor, we created a custom rug to fit the stairwell and wrap around the post of the stairway. The results were dramatic and effective!
