This month's newsletter has a few announcements including that of our first creative canvas
painting art workshop here in Costa Rica! I am so excited about it and looking forward to having you join us. This
first class will be limited to six participants with a special discounted fee to our readers.
Whether or not you are an artsy, crafty type of
person, this class will offer instruction and individual help, suggesting ways to design and paint your canvas rug
(or wall hanging). The goal is to have fun painting on canvas and produce something you will to be proud
to display in your home.
Other announcements

Class! Capture Costa Rica on Canvas!
Saturday Nov. 14th 9:30 am - 12:30 + Lunch.
Join us for a half day of creativity and fun at
Laurel 's farm in Santa Barbara de Heredia, Costa Rica. You will have the choice of painting 
your own 2.5 x 3 foot canvas rug or a wall décor piece using a freehand painted
design and/or available stamps. The canvas material will be prepped for you in advance; pre-shrunk, sewn and a base coat of
paint applied. You have a choice of three base coat colors: off-white, dark tan or sage green. The cost includes
all materials and a healthy, homemade lunch to celebrate!
Reserve Your Spot! A prepaid deposit of $50 (total fee)
is required no later than Friday November 6th for the creative canvas painting class. Once the deposit
has been made, please e-mail Laurel with your name and the bank deposit receipt number (reference as: art class). And please be sure to include your base coat
color choice. (off white, dark tan or sage green)
